Overview

Fantom is a lifestyle platform designed around exclusive visual content and curated drops. Subscribers gain access to premium “faceless visuals” they can post as their own, early access to curator drops, and daily premium content. For curators (visual creators), Fantom provides a way to monetize their work by uploading visuals to the platform, which are then distributed to the community and rewarded based on usage.

The project included a sleek native mobile app (iOS and Android), a complementary web app, and a comprehensive admin dashboard to manage creators, content moderation, subscriptions, payments, and analytics.

The technology

• Backend & database: Supabase for user authentication, content storage, subscriptions, and metadata management.

• Application logic: fully custom backend handling payments, recurring subscriptions, notifications, and moderation.

• Admin dashboard: built with Bolt, providing tools to manage creators, approve or reject uploads, monitor usage, process payouts, and export reports.

• Mobile & web frontends: modern, content-centric UI optimized for browsing curated drops, category navigation, and personalized feeds.

• Payments & subscriptions: integrated recurring billing with revenue sharing for curators.

The business model

Fantom runs on a hybrid model:

• Subscribers pay a monthly fee (starting at $9.99) for access to exclusive visuals, daily premium drops, and early access to limited content.

• Curators earn payouts when their visuals are used or gain traction, incentivizing high-quality uploads.

• A marketplace dynamic drives growth: more curators → more exclusive content → more subscribers → more curator earnings.

Our involvement

We delivered the end-to-end build: native mobile app, web app, backend infrastructure, and the full admin dashboard. This included setting up subscription payments, building the content moderation pipeline, integrating Supabase for authentication and storage, and ensuring scalability for a fast-growing user base.
